Carl Padovano and Tom Della Torre were good friends of Vince Lombardi who had coached at Saint Cecilia in Englewood prior to being offered the job at Hackensack in May 1945. The date of this photo is unknown as of December 1, 2010 but I, Bob Meli, having known Carl Padovano and Tom Della Torre would date this picture sometime in the 1960's when Vince Lombardi had risen to coaching stardom. |
